This is a single use 2-piece mask.
1. Remove the clear liner on both pieces of the mask.
2. Drop enough serum (typically, 1-2 droppers full) on the mask side (not the blue side) then spread to cover the mask.
3. Place mask bottom (mouth opening) on face first followed by the top piece (eye opening).
4. After 5 minutes, remove blue liners on both pieces and relax!
5. Remove mask after 15 minutes or longer. The longer, the better! As the mask will contour and stay on the face, feel free to move around and continue with your day. The mask will drive the topical ingredients into the skin.
6. Enjoy the glow!

The Muskad Hydrogel Infusion Mask works well. I found that it was loaded with all of the essentials that help it penetrate deep into my skin locking in moisture and refreshing my skin. I found that it hydrated, renewed and rejuvenated my skin pretty well. The truth is that I am not a huge fan of masks in general. They take a while to work, keep you from being able to go anywhere or do anything during the treatment, and are messy. This mask is still a mask that is a bit messy and not something to go out into the Vegas sun in. However, it does a good job of renewing and refreshing my skin. I like this mask and I would recommend it to my clients. I would use it again as well. However, I wish there was an alternate way to deliver the deep penetration if a mask without the fuss.

I would typically incorporate this mask into a healing facial after a skin procedure such as laser or micro-needling. I say that knowing that Maskād also makes a dermal roller with better results by applying the Hydrogel mask afterward. Its ingredients really did calm down redness and swelling that can happen after too much time in the sun or by using the dermal roller.I admit that I don’t usually use one-use sheet masks; however, hydrogel masks are typically recyclable. The mask comes in two pieces to contour better to your skin. I love this feature because I have facial hair and can move the bottom piece onto my neck. The feeling after 15 minutes on is amazing. My skin looked healthier than it has in a while.

The Maskad Hydrogel Infusion Mask was okay. I followed the directions and applied my serum on it using their anti-aging serum. Before applying the mask, I used their derma roller as well. The following day I got a pimple. I wasn’t really a fan of the mask. I wouldn’t recommend using the anti-aging serum with it either. My face felt sticky after like the products never absorbed into my skin. Being intentional about skincare from my 4+ years in the industry, I have experienced more beneficial hydrogel masks like the Dr. Jart + hydrating mask. I am not amazed by it from my first use so I can’t say I would recommend it to anyone as of yet, I would give it another try using a different serum first. I did like the texture of it but I felt like it was a little thick/firm where certain areas would pop off my skin.

It also wasn’t soaking wet so the mess associated with masks was nonexistent. The product still hydrated very well and I used it as a treatment after dermarolling and applying the peptide serum. Everything went smoothly and my skin felt like it had drunk a huge glass of water. Similar hydration feeling of getting a hydra facial. I recommend these when you’re getting into your skin with a full regiment of products and devices.
